The DH is seeking the views of the cancer community as part of a review of the Cancer Reform Strategy.
The review, to be carried out by Sir Mike Richards, will set the direction for cancer services up to 2015, based on the ambition outlined in the white paper Equity and Excellence: Liberating the NHS.
In a letter to colleagues, Sir Mike Richards asks for feedback on a range of issues, including priority areas for action and the best way of measuring quality and outcomes in cancer care.
He also asks for examples of good practice in cancer service delivery which could be replicated.
