The SoR is calling for candidates to replace UK Council members whose term of office will come to an end on 30 June.
As of this date, Gill Dolbear, Steve Harris, Kenny McMurray, Zena Mitton and Andy Thomas will step down from their current roles at UK Council, leaving the path clear for new candidates to reprise roles in the following regions:
• South East
• Northern
• Scotland (1 seat)
• Eastern
• Wales (1 seat)
Candidates are also being sought for a casual vacancy in the Yorkshire and North Trent region.
Those interested can obtain nomination packs and forms by emailing the Society's executive secretary, Gill Smith.
Completed nomination forms must be returned to the CEO by Tuesday 13 April 2010.
