The deadline for radiographer registration renewals with the HPC is 28 February.
As of 2 February, 32.2% of radiographers, which equates to 8537 registrants had NOT renewed their registration.
Managers are asked to remind all staff members that if the correct documentation is not with the HPC by 28 February their registration will be lapsed.
The HPC will write to those whose registration lapses as well as their employer. Those who lapse from the register for more than 28 days and intend to continue to practice must pay a readmission fee of £115 in addition to the registration fee, as well as obtaining health and character references and completing a readmission form.
