The UK and Northern Ireland Team of the Year picked up their award last week at a special ceremony, held at the House of Commons.
The Paediatric Special Interest Radiographers at South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust were nominated for their commitment to improving imaging services for children and young people.
Following the prize giving, team leader Alyson Lattimer said: “We were all a bit overwhelmed, especially when we read the lists of other regional finalists!
“We felt very proud of our achievement and to think that our ideas and initiatives for children visiting our imaging services have been recognised as significant best practice. We all feel spurred on to complete the other ideas we have in the pipeline and continue the good work.
“The ceremony was a wonderful occasion and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting the other finalists in such prestigious surroundings.”
