Radiology service managers are invited to attend one of a number of events, aimed at providing practical information for employers of HPC registrants.
Through presentations and detailed workshops, the HPC will share examples and case studies focusing on fitness to practise and CPD – key areas for both employers and registrants, especially with the first audit for radiographers coming up.
Attendees at previous employer events have commented that they were “well presented and focused” and an “excellent opportunity to engage with the HPC regarding current issues.” Others said “friendly, well-organised, professionally presented” and “really useful to feedback to colleagues especially regarding the CPD audit” with “some really useful tips and resources.”
The forthcoming events will be held at the following venues:
• London – Tuesday 24 November, Park Inn, Russell Square, 92 Southampton Row;
• Cardiff – Thursday 26 November, Holiday Inn, Castle Street;
• Belfast – Tuesday 1 December, Holiday Inn, 22 Ormeau Avenue;
• Glasgow – Wednesday 2 December, Crowne Plaza, Congress Road.
All these events will be held from 10.10am for a 10.30am start. The events will finish at approximately 4pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. The event is free, but places are limited so registration is essential.
