A new SoR guidance document aims to help managers and accredited reps tackle the workplace issues around musculoskeletal disorders in mammography.
In an introduction to the guidance, SoR chief executive Richard Evans comments: 'Work-related injury to members of the radiographic workforce is a threat to the health of our members, a threat to their careers and a threat to the services that they have worked so hard to establish.
'The causes, risks and control measures are complex and challenging. But everyone in the mammography speciality needs to be aware of the problem and work together to make sure that the risks are minimal'.
