Could you become a UKAS technical assessor?
The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) is looking to recruit and train assessors to help deliver manage and deliver the new imaging services accreditation scheme.
Appointed by scheme partners, the Royal College of Radiologists and the College of Radiographers, UKAS is asking for entrants with four years' practical experience in an imaging department.
The voluntary role will involve a minimum of between nine to 15 days per year (some of which will be reading and preparation rather than site visiting), and will provide valuable training and insight should your department seek accreditation in the future. It will also contribute towards CPD.
