A resource developed by The Royal College of Radiologists has, for the first time, been made available to radiographers through the RCR website.
AuditLive can be used by all clinicians involved and interested in clinical audit. It contains templates for audits which can be adapted to suit individual departmental needs.
It is hoped radiographers will find it an invaluable tool, plus that the move will discourage shared use of personal log-ins and passwords.
The Society welcomed the move, but added a note of caution: “At the moment AuditLive can only take new audit templates from RCR members and Fellows and this is something that the SoR remain concerned about,” said Audrey Paterson, director of professional policy.
“Audit is, or should be, a multi-disciplinary activity and it is less than sensible for this restriction to apply. We shall be discussing this further with the RCR and would hope that, in time, this restriction can be lifted.”
