College publishes Education Strategy
 The College of Radiographers’ education strategy has been implicit through a number of documents related to various aspects of education and professional development. The new Education Strategy draws together these strands.
It also provides the College with an opportunity to restate its vision that education will play the central role in the profession’s future development.
In a foreword to the publication, Ian Henderson, chair of the Approvals and Accreditation Committee says: “This strategy is constructed to direct institutions developing educational and professional development initiatives for radiographers and they will be expected to conform to the principles herein. Institutions implementing this guidance will be able to ensure that the developments they oversee align with current thinking and can evidence the basis on which their own strategies are founded. They will know that they meet current and evolving service needs, enabling them to keep the patient at the centre of consideration.”
