Northern Ireland PACS course
 Places on a University of Ulster implementation and running of PACS (picture archive and communications systems) course are now open – but bookings must be received by 2 December.
The three-day course aims to increase awareness of both the technological fundamentals of PACS and understanding of work flow changes, as well as provide an open forum to discuss planning and implementation issues. A practical hands-on session is also provided to enhance understanding of digital imaging and PACS quality assurance.
Topics covered include: digital imaging basics; health service information systems; PACs technology, implementation, applications, management and quality assurance; and practical digital imaging/monitor QA.
The course runs from 16 – 18 January.
