What is the role of the nuclear medicine technologist?
 A meeting on 1 November in Birmingham will discuss the role of the nuclear medicine technologist, which has become increasingly complex. As the equipment in the nuclear medicine department becomes more sophisticated, so do the skills of the technologist. In some departments, technologists now perform duties that were formerly in the medical domain. Some nuclear medicine practitioners are only involved in research and development.
This event will provide an opportunity for nuclear medicine practitioners to exchange ideas and present new results.
