The child and the law
 A document setting out the current legal position of radiographers who work with children is being developed by the SoR. Currently in its draft stage, The child and the law: the roles and responsibilities of the radiographer, includes advice on consent and confidentiality, non accidental injury, cooperation, distraction and immobilisation.
The document covers education and training needs for staff, and includes advice for radiographers asked to look after children in the course of their duty. It will be available on the SoR website later in September.
