Computerised radiography: Getting it in and getting it right!

Aimed at current CR users and those preparing for installation, the objectives of this study day are:

• To provide radiographers and managers with an up to date understanding of computerised radiography;

• Prepare future users for the problems encountered during installation and integration with RIS/PACS;

• Demonstrate the impact of CR on radiographic techniques, adjustment, benefits and optimisation;

• Assess the use of CR in mammography with comparisons to plain film and DR;

• Update on methods of CR QA including artefact recognition and effectiveness of exposure indicators.
