Radiographer required for Workforce Review Team
A radiographer is needed to replace Ann Cattell, who is stepping down from the AHP advisor post to the Workforce Review Team. The WRT advises on the number and type of healthcare professionals required for the future needs of the NHS in England.
Details of salary and hours are secondment at cost or £40,859 pro rata (subject to Agenda for Change). One day a week. Some flexibility in working days essential.
The recruitment advertisement says, “You will have the opportunity to play a significant role using your professional expertise and accumulated knowledge to develop and shape workforce development in the 21st century. An experienced professional in the allied health professions, with knowledge of the structures and processes within the NHS, you will be comfortable working in a top management environment. With professional experience at a senior level, you are also likely to have experience in postgraduate education and/or workforce planning, and achieving change in this field.”
WRT’s main office is in Winchester with another office in Leeds. Applicants should ideally be located within two hours’ travelling distance of one of these sites. Most face-to-face meetings take place in London but much of the work can be conducted by telephone and e-mail.
