Radiographers are petitioning the government to ensure appropriate remuneration for the move to a 37.5 hour week.

The petition appears on the 10 Downing Street website and so far has 1397 signatures.

“Under AfC, the hours worked per week for radiographers will be increased from 35 to 37.5, but there will be no commensurate increase in pay! This is not acceptable, and lowers morale in a workforce of which there is already a national shortage”, comments initiator Helen Grant.
