Advanced practice accreditation
 The SoR is turning to members for feedback on proposals for an advanced practice accreditation scheme.
The aim is to ensure that all radiographers practising at advanced level are doing so effectively and safely. Practitioners seeking accreditation would need to provide evidence of education and experience in clinical practice.
Audrey Paterson, director of professional policy, urged managers and their staff to take part in the survey: “The consultation is of relevance to radiographers at all levels; your views are important because they will help ensure the profession 'gets it right'.”
The consultation is now live on the public area of the SoR website, and will end on 31 May.
