Members are urged to complete the SoR’s AfC matching and assimilation survey before 30 April.

“As the deadlines for assimilation in the four countries come to pass, our survey will also come to a close,” said Susan Henry, information officer at the SoR. “To date we have had a low response rate of approximately 10 per cent of the NHS membership – unfortunately this could mean that our results are dismissed in negotiations as unrepresentative of the profession as a whole.”

That said, the SoR’s results have been very consistent (see table below) and the organisation considers them representative of the situation amongst radiographers.

“We want every member working in the NHS to complete the monitoring survey. If we don’t know your outcome we can’t measure the impact of AfC upon radiographers and our negotiating position is weakened,” said Susan.
