Share your imaging best practice
Live video links will facilitate a national discussion on meeting the challenge of 18 weeks at the Department of Health's 'Imaging Workshop'.
Hosted by Dr Erika Denton, National Clinical lead for Imaging, the workshop will provide a chance to develop and share best practice and action plans to meet the challenge of waiting targets.
Sessions will explore what already works in imaging, what does not work, and what still needs to be done. They will also look at what support can be gained in a team environment.
At the end of the day, the workshop will have developed a strategy for forward thinking and action planning.
Expressions of interest are invited from commissioners and managers of imaging services – people who have best practice to share or who can take on board best practice and make change happen.
The event is sponsored by the Department of Health and is free to delegates apart from travelling expenses. These should be funded through SHAs/Trusts.
Venues will be: The three Radiology Academies (Leeds, Norwich and Plymouth) and a London venue.
Download the application form and email to the Department of Health.
Successful applicants will be notified by 30 April 2007.
