‘IT: Here and now’
This new NHS Connecting for Health conference offers you the chance to hear how healthcare professionals across England are using new IT systems within their roles, and how it has benefited them and their patients.
Delegates will learn more about the National Programme for IT and how it will deliver better and safer care, from a clinical and patient perspective.
A question and answer panel will provide an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback about your own experiences of using IT. An interactive session will also demonstrate key areas of the national programme, such as e-prescribing, e-care pathways and education, training and development.
Speakers at the conference will include: Chris Beasley, chief nursing officer, Susan Osborne and Barbara Stuttle, joint national clinical leads for the nursing professions, Jan Laidlow, national clinical lead for allied health professionals for NHS Connecting for Health, and two patients who will explain how information sharing could have improved their healthcare.
The conference is on Tuesday 1 May at the QE II Conference Centre, Westminster, London, from 9am to 3.30pm.
Book online or email the CFH events team for more information.
