FujiFilm logoInspirational radiographers from across the UK met at the House of Commons to celebrate the Radiographer of the Year awards.

Presenting the awards, Professor Mike Richards, National Cancer Director, said that the profession has changed beyond recognition during his seven years in post.

Radiographer of the Year"By taking on reporting roles, leading new service delivery models and developing expertise within education, radiographers have ensured that there is a lot to celebrate," he said.

This year's awards, which were sponsored by Fujifilm, included both individual and team winners all nominated for their outstanding achievements in education, patient care and service delivery.

Richard Evans, SoR CEO, paid tribute to all the winners. "The health service is under enormous pressure and it is great to see such excellent work being carried out," he said.
