Pay review evidence gathering
For the 2007/8 pay review round the Society will again be submitting evidence in support of a realistic pay rise for members. To this end, during early September, we will be gathering evidence from a representative sample of NHS department managers in England, via a short telephone questionnaire.
The questions are reproduced below so you can prepare your answers prior to the telephone call. Managers are also invited to submit answers to the questions via email if they so wish. Any replies received via email will be accounted for and the final sample size adjusted accordingly.
“Evidence from managers is absolutely crucial to ensuring that radiographers get a fair pay award,” says the Society’s chief executive, Richard Evans.
“If we can’t come up with the facts, how can the Pay Review Body make an informed decision? And it could then make an incorrect judgement that is detrimental to the interests of Society members.”
The survey takes only minutes to complete and will provide invaluable data.
