Last chance to grab research money
Time is running out for the radiographers to apply for this year's Pump Priming Research Grants Scheme. These grants are awarded annually to foster research into medical imaging. They are intended to `pump-prime’ individuals, collaborations, ideas or institutions.
Typically, funding will not exceed £5000 per project. However, applications for up to £10,000 will be considered, based on scientific merit, particularly where projects represent joint bids to the RCR's Faculties of Clinical Radiology and Clinical Oncology.
Completed application forms should be returned by 3pm on Friday 8 September 2006 to the RCR where the principal investigator is a member or Fellow of the College, or to the SoR where the principal investigator is a member of the SCoR.
Nan Parkinson is the contact at the RCR and Gill Smith at the SCR.
