Are you a hazard?
The Common User Interface programme – part of Connecting for Health - is looking for volunteers to take part in hazard assessment workshops in September.
The research is intended to increase the level of consistency seen in use of the products available between NHS locations/trusts. They are also intended to better enable the NHS to fully realise the benefits of some of the enterprise-wide agreements currently in place with NHS suppliers.
The establishment of consistent navigation concepts and structures is a key work area within the Design Guide workstream of the Common User Interface programme. If successful, it will have huge potential benefits in terms of reduced incidence of errors in system usage, and of reduced IT training requirements across the NHS in England.
