Top of the class
 Radiographers are encouraged to promote their achievements by entering this year's UK awards for AHPs and healthcare scientists.
Nominations are sought from individuals, small groups working together, a department, a hospital, or trust. There is up to £15,000 in prize money.
A new category – Working across boundaries – reflects the government's White Paper 'Our health, our care, our say: a new direction for community services'. Other categories include new ways of working and extending the boundaries, excellence in management and leadership, and putting research into practice.
The awards aim to:
- Recognise and reward health professionals who are often overlooked;
- Help raise their profile by showing their contribution to patient care;
- Showcase new ways of working;
- Encourage team and partnership working.
Closing date is Friday 1 September.
