Leadership fellows scheme opens for applications
 The Health Foundation invites ‘talented healthcare professionals’ to apply for the Leadership Fellows award scheme. It offers personal and professional development opportunities to individuals who ‘have the potential to significantly improve the quality of healthcare services and become leading figures in health in the UK’.
Successful applicants will benefit from almost two years of one-to-one coaching, learning sets, seminars and workshops. They will work with experienced leadership development consultants; gain from the experiences of other talented clinicians and managers on the scheme; have the chance to network with experts on leadership and quality improvement; and feedback learning to colleagues in their organisation.
Interested applicants can check their eligibility and download an application form for the scheme from the Health Foundations website. The deadline for completed applications is 13 September 2006.
