CR/DR: Getting it in and getting it right!

This study day is aimed at radiographers and their managers, both current CR users and those preparing for installation. It will:

• Provide radiographers and their managers with an up to date understanding of computerised radiography/digital radiography (CR/DR);
  
  
• Prepare future CR/DR users for the problems encountered during installation and integration with RIS/PACS;
  
  
• Demonstrate the impact of CR/DR on radiographic technique;
  
  
• Assess the use of CR/DR in mammography, with comparisons to plain film;

Update on methods of CR/DR QA including artefact recognition and effectiveness of exposure indicators.
