What is the role of assistant practitioners?
 The SoR has launched a consultation on the draft document ‘The Scope of Practice of Assistant Practitioners in Clinical Imaging’.
“There is a wide range of views amongst the membership as to the assistant practitioner’s role and what their scope of practice includes and what it does not cover,” said Audrey Paterson, the Society’s Director of Professional Policy.
“The draft document and the questionnaire have been integrated on-line to make it simple for members to respond. It does not take long to complete. It is vital that we get as many responses as possible on this very important issue.
The consultation closes on 31 May and, subject to the outcome, UK Council expects to publish the final document in July.
