Leaders for Change award

The Health Foundation has announced that the Leaders for Change award scheme has opened for applications. Aimed at experienced healthcare professionals who are leading local service improvement, the award equips individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to lead change and achieve lasting improvements in the quality of patient care.
Up to 14 individuals will be supported through a modular structured learning programme in change management at Lancaster University Management School. The award also provides an allowance for personal development training worth £3000.
Applications are sought from healthcare professionals (including clinicians and managers) leading service improvement at a local level. Successful applicants will have a discrete area of work or project in which they have a lead role. This piece of work or project must have a direct impact on service improvement for patients and will form the context for skills development during the period of the award.
The scheme closes for applications on 3 May. More information can be found at the Health Foundation's website.
