Reducing the risks and impact of work related musculoskeletal disorders
This conference, to be held on 25 May in Birmingham, will include a keynote address by Dr Grahame Brown on the development of upper limb and neck pain, how this pain becomes chronic pain and, most importantly, what can be done to reduce the risk of suffering chronic pain.
The day is designed primarily for sonographers, sonography managers and SCoR Safety Reps, with the major learning outcomes being an understanding of the factors involved in the development of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), ways of reducing the risk of developing an MSD, and action that can be taken to reduce the impact of MSDs in the workplace.
