New ways to communicate
Adherents of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) claim that it is a highly regarded tool for achieving personal excellence, managing change, improving communication, successful coaching and mentoring, and enhancing leadership skills.
This one-day workshop in London on 12 June will inspire and enthuse delegates, providing solid practical skills for immediate use and benefit in the workplace.
Specific learning outcomes include:
- Increased knowledge and understanding of key NLP techniques and their potential use within radiography;
- Knowledge of and confidence to use a practical tool to help resolve conflict and understand and work with differences of opinion;
- Acquiring a better understanding of self in the professional context;
- Improved practical skills to communicate more effectively with patients and colleagues;
- Increased motivation to return to practice and make a difference in the workplace.
The facilitators for the day are Suzanne Henwood, who is a diagnostic radiographer by background and is now an NLP practitioner, and Jim Lister, training director of the C:Change Partnership, a coaching,training and development company, and a qualified NLP practitioner and coach.
