Whither the medic?
A new publication from the Royal College of Physicians explores the role of doctors and presents recommendations for the profession in a changing world.
“The relationship between doctors and society, the doctor-patient relationship, and the environments in which doctors undertake their training and their practice, have all changed,” said Professor Dame Carol Black, President of the RCP.
“We have made recommendations for a new, strengthened form of medical professionalism to maintain trust and confidence in doctors and their part in our system of healthcare.”
The information is included in Doctors in society: Medical professionalism in a changing world PDF
