AfC: April pay rise will go ahead

Rumours that the 3.33 per cent pay rise due in April was to be deferred have been scotched with employers saying that it will be paid on schedule.

The advance letter detailing the Whitley based pay increase is being issued to trusts. A possible delay was mooted because of problems with assimilation of staff on to Agenda for Change pay bands.
